I am thinking about building a tow vehicle for my race car. I really like 60-66 Suburbans but I would like to put it on a newer chassis. Any advise on chassis selection etc? Found a nice 60 Panel that would make a great tow rig. Thanks

    TO much work .
I did a 65 for a guy, I used the spindles and disc. upper ball joints just bolt in, honed out lower to fit later joint and made brackets and such for sway bar.
The front end cross member un bolts out of the 73-87 . Go with 3/4 ton if your doing a lot of towing .
