I just sold my 71 D200 crew. I went and looked at a 68 D100 yesterday but it was a no go. The D200 was picked up today and I'm already having sellers regret:(

    Nice !!

Are you going to keep it ?

  20. Right now, that is the intention. It might go next week, too, who knows!:) The 440 I have on the stand is just begging to go in it, though. The truck is way too straight and complete not to do something constructive with. The four-eye look is definitely growing on me...

I love 'em. I learned to drive in my grandpa's '65 when I was about 8 or 9 when we bailed hay out in the fields. I couldn't lift a bail yet so driving was my job while my dad and uncles did the hard work. Of course, I got screamed at regularly if I went to fast or jerked the load around when hitting dips. I need to get one of these.

I'm not sure what year this one was, but here's my sister, grandpa and me with another of his trucks in the background:

Patrick, does the slant six still run? If it does and you decide to violate that sweetie with a 440, give me a shout- I've got a '63 swb utiline that was my first vehicle. It had a 383 transplant when I was a stupid kid and hasn't been on the road in 15 years. Thanks to you guys, I'm now getting the urge to make it roadworthy again, but I'd like to go back with the Leaning Tower of Power. If a 16 year old kid couldn't kill it, maybe the old man that stares back at me in the mirror won't be able too :D.

  26. Will do. I'm gonna wrench on it this week to see if it'll start and run.
