  25. Thank's for the cool pictures Bob! Looks good for a 283 powered street car with the secondaries disconnected. I will be running errands in it tomorrow. It runs great until you really get on it. I am pretty sure it is starving for fuel at about 5,000 rpms. Anyway, it is embarrasing that it still runs like shit so long after the H.A.M.B. drags. Since then I have worked like hell trying to figure it out. I replaced the heads and cam giving it triple valve springs thinking it was floating the valves, had the distributor out and checked on a distributor machine, had the carbs off and looked at by experts, tried all kinds of timing settings, changed from electric fuel pump to manual, removed the fuel regulator and done other stuff I can't even remember. I can build a running car from scratch but I can't even tune a lawn mower. l have come to the conclusion that the fuel line from the tank to the pump is restrictive and I plan on redoing it with half inch hard line. Some experts say it's over carbed, others say it isn't, the more people I talk to the more confused I get. One day it will launch off the line and charge down the track.

  26. Tom Leonardo, his kid's name is Tommy

  27. Hey...it's sure a crowd pleaser Kev. When you get it sorted out it will steal the show!!!!
You shouldn't feel embarrassed at all. I bet you couldn't find another guy there who could have built that Willys in their garage. Especially on the budget you had. Everybody on the HAMB knows your skills.

  28. Kendra was having fun in her roadster, but went out in round two when she got into a pedal fest with a Ford F100 and backed off too much.

This Turbo car got out of shape in his own oil or coolant and smacked the wal
    [IMG]

Could have been much worse, smashed up a fender and quarter.
