Have a set of these trim rings 15 inch in diameter, with a 9 1/2 opening in the center, and have mounting clips around the outside edge as well, so they are not held on by the small cap in the center. Any idea what they fit? and or if they are worth anything, look to be NOS maybe, still in brown wrapping paper, but the box was smushed! Any input greatly appreciated. TrimRing.JPG

Standard hub cap should hold them on if there are no clips.... popular trim run of the late 49’s early 50’s were painted white.. I don’t remember ones to fit the 9-1/2” tho.

Factory accessory for some makes, also sold by any place selling car parts. There were maybe 15 different applications, yours should be close to the '49 - '53 Chevrolet item. Your sample looks like it was used … new ones didn't come with dents.

Good point, think these were damaged in the box as it was crushed, but who knows...They DO have "clips" on the outside edge to hold them on the rim.

So, anybody got an idea as to what they might fit, or are they just a common accessory?
