Not being a flathead guy, I know little of costs or value for performance models. I have a friend who wants me to liquidate some flathead stuff he has (we keep talking about inventorying and putting it up for sale but no action yet) but we have no idea of value. In addition, I found a project for sale with a built flathead with Edelbrock heads, 4 carbs and a Vertex mag. The car also has a later Ford 3 spd behind it. Not sure on the internals but, assuming the shortblock was built to actually work with the heads, intake and ignition, what would an engine/trans combo like this be worth? Thanks, Steve
