Technical Another weird bare metal before primer question

  1. Well, they're not in business in Jackson anymore. Number shown is no good.
    Called ProStrip in Indy and the Guy was glad to answer questions.
    They no longer use Phosphate to protect bare metal due to EPA regs.
    He said to wash surfaces with Ospho and Scotchbrite, then wash down with solvent recommended by the primer supplier.

    I would take a look at the surface prep requirements on the Primer that your going to spray. SPI says their epoxy primer and Ospho don't play nice with each other. It's worth taking the time to check before you lay down the foundation of all your body/paint work.
