Good god, the car, the shop, the quality of work...

Holy crap was this guy a columbian drug lord before he got into cars?
A yoder, a CNC Lazer, serious $$$ into this shop.

Why have I never heard of him? I've spent too much time in isolation the last few years...

I think he quit building badass hot rods and now only builds birdcages and toyotas.

    OK

Here's the official WORD!!!! Yes Jimmy has been busy makin a living. BUT he's also been very busy with some other special projects. For one h e has been busy puttin up another building to house his finished cars along with his huge amount of memorbilia. It going to like an old gas station outside. As usual he is doing just about everything him self. He even built a stainless steel drain trough in front of the garage doors that would blow you away. Dont have any pics right now but I will get some soon and post them. As usual it first class..... Also he has chopped a 36 3-window for a friend and yes it was metal finished and top quality workmanship. There is also another special project that I cant mention right now and is TOP SECERET!!!!!

Yesterday my friend Jim Barron and I stopped and took a 3 hour visit with Jimmy, Debbie and little Jimmy on the way home from Salina.. Jimmy and his family have been friends of mine for about 2 years and my friend thought I had known them all my life! They are super folks and of course ole Jimmy is oozing with unreal talent...Of course he's in the metal fab business commercially, but the vintage equipment this guy has rounded up and personally modified to suit him is simply amazing...Thanks Jimmy, Deb (aka sweetpea) and your son for the hospitality....See you in Louisville...look for the green Weesner Model A truck and stand back and imagine...Jimmy handbuilt this truck in aluminum and informed us yesterday that there is no filler in the truck....just primer and paint!!!!!....Be sure to look it up at the Nats and give it the once over.........and if you're lucky...you might get one of the infamous Debbie hugs!!:)

If I was not a poor college student trying to build my first, I would make a donation to the "Priceless information for the hot rod youth of the world" foundation.

Thank you for posting! The Weesner Model A is what first got me interested in the HAMB!
