Just got home from Byron . It was nice meeting you. I may have missed a run but saw you make 2 nice passes. Hope you finish out the week even better!

Thanks! Good to see you too. First pass was 10.35 which was too slow. Throttle linkage was not opening fully, found the problem quick but had to wait three hours to make another pass.

Best part of Dragweek was watching a fellow Meltdown racer compete in it at Byron. Good seeing you again Jim and good luck the rest of the week.

Kinda looks like Wile E. Coyote's handwriting on those plans. But the car works too good for that to be true.

Happy with the run today. Pulled the front wheels a bit. Felt real good.

Brian drove the fuel coupe to the track but won't run.

10.00 because of the safety gear

  22. Only goes back to -1.56, from what I see.
I suspect these times change until it's actually in the can at night.
Haven't found Jim's runs yet, since Monday. Can't sit here and watch the whole thing during the day.

  23. Really nice meeting and talking a bit with you today Jim. Another nice run today and you can't beat the crowd size around here, we love it ! You really do make this look way too easy which we all know is not the case. Good luck tomorrow and safe travels home.

  24. Jim and dan stopped by to see my place. They pitched in putting everything back together. We fixed the trans last night so i drove the coupe to the track. I was at the top end and got a great view of jims great 20170913_223800.jpg 20170913_220034.jpg 20170914_105743.jpg 20170914_105753.jpg run. I have seen the car make alot of passes over the years but they were all from the starting line.
