It's a bad day for you Aussies. Kinda like us Yanks losing Johnny Cash. I know my friend Rod Hadfield is going to be devastated with his passing. On our first trip Down Under, I rode with Rod from Castlemaine to Canberra for the Aussie Nats and listened to Slim Dusty the whole way there. Plus, Rod explained to me what a national treasure he was. I must admit that by the time we hit Canberra I was ready for a change of tune-literally. However, I'll take Slim and Johnny any day of the week when compared to the current crop of "singers" being foisted on us by the a-holes of the recording industry. Rest in peace, Slim.
