Another New Year in Austin freezing our butts off again!

Gonna try to get set up in the Austin Motel for the Roundup in April.

 

Just walked in the door from taking the dog out 4 a piss- 9 degrees. I wanna move.

 

What it gets cold there? I knew there had to be at least 1 reason I shouldn't move there.

 

I think its freakin cold every where. Its global warming

 

about 35 here, 95 your temp, here today, long may it continue............
Nothing like getting all sweaty in the garage.

Huh? Im not a fan of the cold and temps in the 30s kinda suck, but its hardly cold in Austin compared to anywhere north of here!!

 

got up early and went and looked at thermometer-20 but its warming up SOME OF YOU GUYS DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT COLD IS

 

I had to turn on a heater last night in San Angelo, Texas. Just a little north of Austin!

 

wish Al Gore would keep his mouth shut!

 

Dam pussy's It gets cold once every 20 years and your moaning. Call Al Gore and give him hell, tell him it's all them Hotrods emiting them foul smelling gas fumes screwing up the ozone layer and causing the icebergs to melt. Dam glad I live up north cause when the great flood comes youall will be heading up to the central US to save your butts. 30 inchs of snow so far (yea I know that's nothing to guys living up north) but I'm a pussy to and I'm already dam sick of winter and it's only the third week. If I wasn't so poor I'd move to Austin where it's warm.

 

It was a perfectly beautiful sunny day here in Austin.High temp was close to 45 or so with blue cloudless skies.I don't think we have anything to complain about.Can drive the old cars year round.It rules

It was -30 at the mine I was at last week and some of the guys were riding their motobikes home.... harden up girls..

 

It's 7 degrees here in Indy, at 9:00 am and a high of 19 at 5:00 pm so they say. It's a good comfee 71 in the garage heading there soon to pull the motet out of the bucket and change the flywheel and starter.

The reason I was posting was not all about it being freezing in Austin...it was only 35 degrees...it was just we were standing in line (outside) to get motel reservations for the Roundup in April. Seems to have become a New Years Eve tradition to some. We went to stand in line at Midnight and wound up 12th in line. Others had been there for hours already and they wouldn't start taking reservations until 9am the next day.

I just realized my pics didn't post from the other night.

 

Oh yeah...after standing in line and calling on the phone...still no rooms.

 

I'm with ya Krylon 32! It's not too nice in northern KS today either! Glad I'm having a day off. Good day to spend with the HAMB!
