hey all, I'm doing automotive art as a side gig and building a 57 meteor ranchero. Met a few guys at the Performance World Car Show up here in Toronto this past weekend and they suggested I check out the HAMB, maybe post some stuff on the Friday Art Show. I love traditional rods and this place is 100% inspiring...
Welcome to the HAMB! Sorry I gave you a bit of a hard time over on the other thread... we just like to know who people are! And, yeah, let's see some pictures of that Ranchero!
thanks guys. Here are a couple of pics of the Ranchero...when I bought it, and present state - ready to pull the body... ...keeping it pretty stock and shiny but with a 302, wide whites and steelies. I'll post a rendering of what it'll look like. http://www.design-o-matic.ca/Ranchero/stock.jpg http://www.design-o-matic.ca/Ranchero/barebones02.jpg
Rendering? I'd like to see your work. I screw around with my own renderings of my own stuff but I gotta squint to make it look good. Man, we Americans aren't accustomed to seeing the 57 Meteor front treatment. Compared to an American 57 Ranchero, the front looks pretty busy. I wanna see it all finished wih fresh paint and plating but in the meantime, lessee your renderings. I think I have one of a 56 Pontiac Safari I was doing once upon a time...just wanted to see what it'd look like ingreen and jello tutone....yeah, it looks like shit, I know. Welcome to the HAMB.
