Well here I am. Have been reading the forum for awhile, thought I'd better get with the program. I live in Eastern Ontario about 2 hours north of Syracuse, N.Y. I was born and raised in Toronto (Scarborough actually) Ontario. I was a teenager during the late 60's at the height of the muscle car wars. There was a drive-in theatre at the top end of my street and I can remember trying lying in bed listening to the cars "burning rubber" when they left the theatre after "Hot Rods To Hell" or "Thunder Road" finished playing. I remember the first time I saw American Graffiti at Cederbrae Theatre. WOW. I was hooked. The first car I owned was a 30 Model A coupe sporting a tri-powered SBC with a Jag rear. My second car was a '64 Dodge Polara with a 413. That was a nice car! The 3rd car I owned was a '36 Chev coupe with a Chrysler 331 Hemi. I now have a '40 Willys coupe that I am in the process of building a 392 Hemi for it. I will be retiring soon (a little over a year) but still a kid. cheers
Welcome from the west coast of Florida. You have owned some cool cars for sure. Is the 40 Willys a glass body or metal? If you can please post some pictures of the cars. Best of luck. Jimbo
