Been a long time lurker but never felt I had anything H.A.M.B worthy with Hotrod but been working on a 62 Impala with my sons and been spending more time here lately. Have always been into cars of some type but had never started one from ground up. Couple of pictures since everyone seems to love pictures. Will post a picture of my 32 Hotrod, I didn't build the car but have made quite a few changes to try and make it my own but still felt left out when the ground up guys share their trials and tribulations of completing a home built car. Found this body in North Carolina along with a parts car and have been working on it, sandblasting and replacing everything as we go. Was gutted when I got it with a few boxes of parts in the trunk. Should be a fun project, especially sharing the build with my two sons. Should have lots of memories to share, both good and bad but we're really enjoying doing it together. Might start a thread and post progress pictures. Do have a thread going on the 348-409.com site called 62 Impala Project. Lots of good information here on the H.A.M.B. and hope to be able to someday share what little we've learned. Topstrap
