Dodge Chargers and challengers in one place unfortunately most got burned. Don't know why all the photos I took of them didn't all come out...really weird like they didn't want to be photgraphed

  4. Looks more like a junkyard owners private collection of old tin that he tried to save. We have a junkyard owner here in town that has collected 100s of junked classics for his own pleasure. All stored inside too and mostly junk.

As the late, great Solomon Burke sang in his song, " Don't You Feel Like Crying ". I do, every time I see pictures like that. I know you can't save them all, but Damn!:(

Yeah, and I had a really nice '59 Catalina in '69. Wonder if it could be the same one? Not likely but still?????

Lots of way off topic car pictures posted here. I'm surprised so many are still posted with as many as there are. Not suppose to be anything newer then 1965.

I totally understand but when you walk thru a yard like this you gotta share, I walked thru quite a few in my lifetime and many others will never see anything like it in person.

Looks like those were in the "some day I'll sell them for a fortune and retire" section.
A guy I know who has a wrecking yard 15 miles from me that has been a go to yard for rodders since the 70's has a section of "saved for personal use" cars that he needs to sell off. A friend of mine bought a 55 BelAir out of that section a few years ago that is on the street now but he is a hard sell on stuff in that section.

  17. Interesting.. Marking on some of the cars are for a local yard.. Desert Valley.

The DV/BC is for the Black Canyon yard, and the DV/CG is for the Casa Grande yard.

Where was these pics taken from?

  28. Guy was posting just today and crying about a lot of a pre 1965 Mopar yard - with the crusher and the stacks of crushed cars. He along with another so called Mopar guy will never disclose their honey hole until it's gone...even when multiple guys ask......so cry me a river.......

  29. Looks like Deals in Richmond ? They had a fire there a few years back.
