Well technically it did follow me home. I was a passenger in the Ford pickup. This Chevy truck is next in line around here. This is my being in the right place at the right time post. She was hiding just in the next town over from me. It popped up onto that list. I grabbed on and didn't let go. Had a bunch already done and a lot of parts came with it. It's back to the garage for me! Dom
Congrats. Another old pickup is gonna be resurrected. A pretty good time, going with a buddy to haul a project home, huh? Having a cool vintage truck to go get 'er makes it even more fun. That's nice...an old Ford truck helping out the old Chevy truck...lol. Hey...nice Chevy convertible! I like the color.
hey gassersteve, the front fenders are white and do fade into the scallops. They are not originals though! At first I thought it was a survivor when I saw the paint. The PO did it a few years ago when he got the truck. Luckily, he lost interest and let it sit. It all happened as if it was meant to be mine. I've read how a lot of guys on the HAMB find and get their projects. Looks like it happened to me this time. Dom
Hey Todd, your right. I did build another deeper two car garage last year. Believe it or not, I have both cars and the truck in there now. I think I'm moving the truck to the garage under the house so I can get working on it soon. It's going to be a more traditional look. Low, with a suede suit. I'll be running a small block and overdrive tranny with power brakes. Jeannie is gonna use this one! Dom
