Hi Guys, A buddy of mine found this Easter weekend. There were also a couple of other cars, but this one was in the best shape by far. It doesn't sound like the owner of the land has a clue what this stuff is worth, so hopefully we can get it for iron price.
wow. My 37 was from Nebraska. Setting in grass like that up to the roof. Only minor surface rust on the undercarriage. I cant believe how the cars set out in the open like those pics. Dont let any of them set!
I hate to bump my own thread, but what the hell. I really would like to know what you Hambers think she's worth.
Very cool. I've got my eye on a couple '32 Pontiacs. have to wait until someone passes away to get a shot at them though...
The guy that's trying to sell them to you does not own them anyway - he is just the next door neighbor - so you can buy them real cheap.
Personally, if you're asking me what I'd pay for the 33/34, I'd jump at anything under a grand. If he wanted me to make him an offer, I'd probably try $400 or $500. To the right guy, that car is worth a lot more than a grand, but in reality, it's still pretty rough and missing a door. I could be way off on this, but since no one else wanted to put a number on it, that's what I'm gonna say.
I'd also ask/check around and see if the missing parts are nearby, or in the barn. You may find a mint grill to go with it $$$$$$$$$!
