Oh yea, and it was b-day time for my dad, so I painted him this kooky fender for some garage art. Its the original off his 64 merc. The RFH are his initials! ha! everyone had a blast at the party.
This was my first attempt at a large multicolored pinstripe cluster.

    Very nice job everyone!
Zombie; thats great work! Love your style!
Norwell: That -57 looks just like my Ranchero, and the girl looks just like… Nah, mine's got darker hair.
Customcory: That truck concept looks great!
    ChopperOlli: WAY COOL!

This is my first showing here, so go easy on me will ya!
With the Orbitron being found, I feel its time to show a version of the Mysterion that I did a while ago. Pencil on paper, tampered with in photoshop.

The Bike is actually a thing I got printed in B/W and gold flake!

The -33-34 is ink on paper. I call it "Fly rod"
    Hope you'll like it

    O.K
Made a challenge to myself to try and do a painting DURING the FridayArt Show.
I know it's pretty basic but... It is based on a photo I saw on the HAMB somewhere. Just my take on it.
So I started this one yesterday. This is a watercolor. 12"X24"

    cecce,

Not sure how well aquainted you are with the HAMB's sister sites, but if you have more cycle art to show off take it to our other message board. (and that's not a command - that's just a tip).

Christ-O-Matic ! This is the best show I've seen yet!

You guys , wow, fricken impressive! My head is spinnin...................

  30. I really enjoy the Friday art shows. Every week I find something else to help inspire my creativity!
Here is an interesting process I've been messing around with. I've been using a laser cutter for creating signage/artwork? A strong black and white image without a lot of fine line work seems to work the best.
This started as a photo I took of a Plymouth hubcap. It was imported into Coreldraw, traced and modified. The laser works from Corel. Format of printer is 18" x 32". The image is burned to the outline of the artwork produciing positive and negative pieces. It will cut most sheet plastics, board stock, and wood lamiinates up to 1/2" thick, no metal though...sorry. These were made from 1/8" pressboard. Circle is approx 17" dia.
I have been working on some of my own b/w artwork but if anyone has any othe ideas on how to apply it or artwork they would be willing to let me try let me know.
    Joe
