nice, I got a 61 Uni, mines a big back window with a LOT of rust (also a shop truck project).
got alot done today.
started the day out doing some media blasting at alloy valve in joplin mo. had a grill blasted while i blasted another gauge cluster and some other small parts in their cabinet.
then i had woodies glass out of carthage mo come out to the shop and install the windshield and rear glass.
laid down some lines and called it a day!
What a cool project...we need more of these out west
So fuckin bad. Can't wait for the paint how to thread!
Boy I do love the talent
thanks. i need to get cought up with some stuff, but it will happen soon!
Awesome, hope it's not sold before I get to see it in person.
probably wait till after the round up to try and sale it, although i'm surprised at now badly i already miss driving this truck. i have had it torn down since dec 1 st and am jonesing to get behind the wheel again.
got some supremes and thin whites for it.
14x6 std in front
14x7 rev in rear.
got to do some more polishing, install the grill, cut and buff the tail gate, and detail, all before this weekends date with royboy productions!
That's what it needed very nice.
Nice wheel choice
Wow, Dig the new rims!!!! I wasn't feelin' the keystones!
normally i wouldnt have thought i would like something like this...this thing oozes sex appeal. i love it. you sir are a genius.
Thanks for ditchin the cragers, They were a cool color, and I did like the knock offs, but now that you did that paint, they had to go. Nice choice. Thing looks mega badasssssss! Keep it up, can't wait to see it finished!
For sure. Truck looks killer man. The paint is amazing and I love the wheel choice. Look forward to checking it out in person
Curious as to why you went 14" instead of 15"?
Kustom Falcon Build Thread:
no love for the cragars, jeez. i feel like an intervention was going on behind my back.
seriously though, they where only temp, until i got farther along with the project. i got these from true spoke.
so far they are great. balanced up nicely and looked true on the balance spinning.
the reason i went with 14's again, is because the suspension and chassis is set up for that size tire to lay down, with a 15" i was too limited on tire chooses.
The cragars are bitchin...esp with the red scheme you had...but these set that cany paint! I never doubted you for a minute!

I love it
Man, i dig the fuck out of this truck! Nice work!
I gotcha. I went 15 and got my tires through Diamondback.
Kustom Falcon Build Thread:
Just when I thought this truck couldn't get any cooler, BAM! - Supremes!!!
I just love the outcome of this Uni. I wouldn't change a thing if it was mine.
Look forward to the paint thread. I want to lay down some patterns on my 54 Plymouth, and I'm intrigued as to how you did the paisley design.
Ryno I am to the point were I need a trans for mine I was thinking a c4 but see you are running a AOD thought I read some where it is easy to blow out the over drive in them how do you like yours.
i have been slowly working on putting down the step by step stuff. keep an eye peeled. ill post a link here when its done
i'm actually running a mustang cruise o matic 3 speed auto. its a early version of what later was called a c4.
i think the aod, is like any other overdrive, if you don't set them up right, they will not last.
if i where to do this build all over again, id most definitely put a t5 in it.
what engine are you running?
I am gona run a 302 .30 over roller motor.Came out of a 82 GT I need to mock it and the trans up so I can send it out for a rebuild.
supremes and kandy patterns, love it, just need some dingleballs on the headliner to finish it off!
get you a 5 speed then.
thanks, but i might have to hold off on that request.....
you know you want to!
Looks great. Funny how that pinstripe on the side changed it too, makes the whole truck look longer. really came out as a great truck
funny you bring that up, i noticed that same thing last night when looking at some pics. in person you cant really tell, but in pics it does show.
got the gauge cluster painted and cleaned up. it was the cast color of the old wheels, so it had to go.
