this truck is bad ass!!!! has me totally inspired......gotta go work on my truck!!!!!
Thus why you are my hero.
Subscribed! This thread makes me want to get started on my 66 F100 very soon! I like what you did with the whole thing.
shit, from a REAL HERO like yourself, i think not.
its not to late man to make some plans to come to joplin????
like i mentioned a few post back, i spent the day yesterday in springfield at line x.
pretty amazing the way that shit works.
the machines needed.
mixing up the red part "A" in the 2 part system
with the trim installed
i think its time to ditch the red tint...
too many shades of red now. the line x was color matched to my seats perfectly, but the tint is darker and cast a different hue on it all.
Good choice, the windows don't go with the bedliner.
Awesome truck by the way!
AHH man don't do it the truck looks bad ass! I love the tint! The "ryno" linning looks bitchin! Damn I dig this truck!
Love Uni's Here is mine. Your truck looks good. I would rally love to do my interior like yours but I have 3 dogs and I love taking them on cuises so they would not have a place to sit. Keep the work up man.
Another vote for keepin' the tint
Ryno----the coolest mofo I know just lowered the thermostat
cYa next week bro....
thanks once agian for all the good words fellas ....
now you guys got me second guessing the tint. i planned on scrapping it in the am. i guess i ll just keep it in the corner of my eye tomorrow while working in the shop and see what happens.
shit, just the thought of you rolling into town next week , the temp has
already dropped a few degrees, from the coolness that is about to take place when you arrive. between you and mother nature, we might have to wear some sweaters to be in the parking lot or drags with you.
I still like the tint, keep it!
holy shit ive never seen anyone build a car that fast and it looks bad to the freakin bone.
what the hell dood, i thought this was something you were just throwing together to drive!!! damn thing is looking good! now you need to laminate the bed to keep it pretty!! or a big sign that reads "step in my bed and i F*** you up!!
thanks. the like votes are adding up!
it came together quickly, but ive just been driving the shit out of it everyday, been too busy to finish it. but im hoping with this new found push i can get some more progress done and closer to completion.
and drive i do, everyday!
the bed is made to be used.
if fuel wasnt so damn expensive ive been thinking of running it back to cali for the mooneyes show in dec, but at current rates and only getting 12mpg, it may be quite expensive....
Dude you know already how much i like this thing. The bed is amazing. And i think is rather cool that you used tinted bedliner rather than painting over it as usual.
Another vote for the tint. You can always swap it if you find a color matched one. But i think nobody is gonna complain.
What did the guys at Line-X say about it? Were they "dropjawed" ? LOL
never thought i would be into red tinted windows. that been said i dig it. you should leave them.
Man I would not change a thing. The red tinted windows look bad-ass with the red line-x!!!!
Also the metal-flake interior looks awesome also!!!
hopefully if this week-weekend goes as planned the ol girl like have some more sparkle soon...
overwleming love for the red windows!
Damn that is a sweet ride, I have one sitting behind the garage waiting its turn to come into the garage, and you've give me some great idea's. Thanks.....
This is the nicest "shop truck I can jump in greasy to go get a sandwich" I've ever seen! Great build
what year? whats your plans?
it kinda evolved, but i still use it for its intended purpose, just today ran to get quiznos in it after playing with greasy tubing build a cage for a ot project.
got it rolled over too my buddies shop,s&s restorations in webb city
had to fix a few hail dents and scrapped all the old seem sealer out of teh rain gutters, and replaced with new.
all taped up and ready for action.
flake! .025 large flake square cut from efx sparkle.
first coat of flake
about 15 coats later!
looks killer in the sun. flake just sparkles and dances with the rays.
big thanks to to mike, wayne, and scott for the help!
cool truck dude
Oh no he didn't!!!!!
So what will the main body color, if and when you paint it?
Thats sweet man, can we get a full body shot from a distance, I'd like a better look where I can see the front and rear wheels from the side?
Sorry I just went back and saw the rendering on P.16 I've seen it again, just forgot!
I would love to come do breakfast for you and the HAMB but I'm still waiting to get cut open. I spent the day at the VA ER getting loaded with antibiotics and pain killers. I got my Sen. on the case so hoping it'll be done soon. I'd explain wtf is wrong with me but it is gross , painful, and just plain embarrassing
LOVE the truck Ryno! I've had my unibody for 23 yrs and is still a work in progress. subframed, rear flip with notch, roof chopped 4'',shaved, healthy 302 and AOD,9'' rear and 4 wheel disc. Bought mine in 1989 and will probably have it forever. I wish I worked as fast as you but it has made alot of progress this year, hoping to have it on the road in the spring.
