Was good to see you on the salt. Looks like you made it home ok, and the roadster is killer.

good to see you as well, going to the next el mirage?

a bloke, the 28-9 cowl rule is bassicly that you can run any configuration you want from the back of the cowl line/windshield frame line up to the stock grill (or 32 grill) so on a 28-9 you can effectivly get rid of the step in the cowl post by running the hood all the way back to them.

chris, good to hear they made a succesfull pass, i only saw it the one time. it was a very detailed little car and you could tell the crew/students were really into it.

can't remember the guys name with the 33 but it had a logo stamped in the tailpan, ford and sons, or something close to that. there was also a v8 logo in the frame just below the cowl.

the sports coupe was one of my favorites up there, it has such a good style and stance i almost forgive re badged sbc :) coupedeville tell your pops he did a great job on the car.

Yup, Dan set the record with Russ' (Russ Eyers) engine in the 131 car. The V8 in Russ' roadster went south, so the 4 cyl came out of the 131 car and landed in Russ' roadster. With a collaberation of effort by a bunch SDRC guys and Bean Bandit goons, that kooky 4 cyl also put Russ in the 200 mph club at the last minute on Friday.

Boy howdy! What a bitchin' week.
