  1. Going with your idea of the Jeep Cherokee rear end and keeping it all Mopar, why not source a 2WD early 90's six cylinder petrol Cherokee and do a transplant?

Monc440 now owns this car. Maybe he will chime in and give us all an update?

Been working on it a bit. One thing you can be sure of, in my hands it will be ALL Mopar. I have a complete rebuilt 1963 383 I built for a Polara that didn't pan out so my plan in the big block with roadster headers. No fenders. Chopping the top a minimum of 3 inches. I'll get some pics in the next week or so.

That was the plan, however it is going to stay a 4-door. I got it home and started doing some measuring and the post at the rear doors is 6.5 inches wider than the cowl at the front doors. It could be done and I was about to start welding in some supports and start cutting and I stopped to give a second look. I talked it over with the wife and daughter and my wife likes the way it looks as a 4 door so in hopes to get her on the road with me, it'll stay a 4 door. Plus the fact that you don't see to many old Chyrslers makes me want to keep it whole. (SO Joe I'm looking for another driver side door for the coupe. LOL)
