Technical Another 40/41 Ford Truck Question - front fender bracket difference?

I'm building a 41 pickup. I've installed a 40 crossmember to get it lower.
I have the stock 41 front fender bracket, but I believe it is taller than the
40 bracket, and I need to know by how much. I can easily modify it, just
need to know how.

Can someone measure a stock 40 bracket for me? I need to know the
vertical distance between the bottom of the support, and the centerline
of the upper mounting holes.

 

They used a wood block under it for the deep drop crossmember.

I disassembled this truck, and I do not remember that.

So this bracket may be the same as a 40?

I disassembled a few pickups, the deep drop ones had this block. The V-braces were all the same.

 

In measuring the differences between the crossmembers, it looks like the spacer would need to be one inch thick. If you look at my pic, there is a one inch deep steel spacer. I guess that is what came on some 41 pickups. Thanks so much for the input. I love the HAMB for stuff like this.

Could someone please post the out-to-out dimension of the top? My brace is bent and I need to fix it

That is 27 inches on the nose.
