Whatcha got cooking with flop there dale??? Is flop going chop suey on something for you.
What great looking car out on the salts of Utah.
Flop you have great skills and a good eye. As a auto painter I would love to get cars of this detail to start with. Especially for a black nitrocellulose paint job. Since acrylic lacquers weren't developed untill the 1950s I would love to shoot it with nitro. And if it is being built as a 30s40s era car it would just add the cherrys on top. I hope we get to see this car in it's done form. Get back to work now. Chop chop.
Thanks everyone . I'm chopping dales 5 window .
Well the car got picked up yesterday . Put in a 26 hour no sleep push to get it done .
Made up new arms for yhe windshield
Functions as the arm and holds the frame together
Got the new Eastwood countour sct
Man does it really shine things up great !
For watching ! Keep an eye out at trog
For it .
Great craftsmanship, got that mean look !
Now get some damn sleep brother!
Here is my first car, 1934 coupe - for one of his next metal mastery projects . . . this is how I brought it out from SoCal about 10 years ago. It will now have the custom frame I built about 5+ years ago . . . mothballed since (for blown 392 Hemi and all that jazz). I can't wait for him to lower the lid on this sucker a bit - not as hard of a chop as the 32, more like the 555 coupe.
Thanks guys ! Looks like a fun one dale !
It will be after you get through with it!
Ben knocked the chassis out of the park .
Love the tire radius and how it matches the wheel openings!
Awesome. Love the chop.
Awesome just plain awesome my man
Geezus man, this is a real hot rod badassery at the finest !!

LOOKS TUFF, WHAT KIND OF TIRES ARE ON THE BACK?
Shit that's an angry looking car. Nice work.
Great looking coupe! Thanks for showing us your work Flop!
Great, Super Great !!!
What gauge is the sheet metal is it very soft I want to build a new car but I am looking now at bodies I would like to work on some clean new metal ! car looks great I have considered selling abrasives here there's a lot of grinding on these old cars !
Why was I always under the impression that these bodies were shipped fully assembled?
Admire your talents, skills, not that many craftsmen of your level around IMO. Wishing you the best with your business and getting the deserving rewards ($$$) of your efforts.
You can get them fully assembled, but they don't come perfect and still need a lot of work. And if you don't have body shaping skills, then you buy them unassembled and have flop make them perfect. You can see what flop has to do to them to make them perfect. Once he chops the piss out if it, it's now perfect.
Beautiful work Brother.
