Haha yes i scraped a Amazon last weekend and
lifted the roof on so it would not rain in the anglia
and found out if i cut down the Amazon roof
it fits the hole in the anglias roof
I bought the anglia of the sons of a friend of me
that died in april there is a lot of spare parts
with the car. doors, better fender,s hoods, grills,
bakelite dash board, seats and so on.
And i got a FE and toploader waiting for it

I realy dont know.needed another car as much a
fish needs a cycle.I gues its eventualy ends up as
another overengined sculptur in crome and paint
    i can hardly use:D
The sane thing would bee to build it for the wife
with some 4 cyl engine since she think it soo
smal and cute. But its so more fun to be insane.
I have some FE,s toploader 9 in rear 10 inch slotmags
hurst shifter thats only holds down the shopfloor
so i gues they get used in the build that will be
60s hotrodish gasser style but i its not in a near future

Nice buy! Sure would like to find a roof like that to fill my Anglia project. Hope to see build progress on it when you get going on it.

I have heard that. I have only found one wagon in a salvage yard, but they wouldn't let me snag the roof. Seems like those are getting hard to find around here.

Glad I didn't have to deal with a soft top on my Austin project!
That's gonna make a great 60's style gasser.

Maby i fill the roof like i did on a Prefect i built
a pickup outof for the friend that owned this
Anglia. I welded nuts on the underside of the
fillpiece and put vinyltop material on it and put
Glue, that they glue windshields on modern cars with
in the u-chanel in the stock roof and a rubber
seal around the fillpiece and bolted it down
then you have a watertight roof thats last
a long time and still looks lika a pegamoid roof
