would you use welting or seam sealer and paint over i

if welting recomend a sorce/size?
If seam sealer, recomend as well.

welting....seam sealer will usually crack or just look bad

 

I usually use the 54-79 VW welting. It is black and 1/4" and works easily. You can get it most local VW parts shops or JC Whitney. http://www.jcwhitney.com/fender-welt-54-79-volkswagen/p2008773.jcwx
