On my 1948 Popular , there is a seam just above the drip rail.
I believe it is the solder joint for the drip rail.

My question is; is there suppose to be seam seal in that area or just paint.
I ask mostly because the joint/seam does not want to fill in well with 2k primer (it is rather jagged)

    Thanks.

    Hey George,

Why not take a tube of seam sealer and a wet rag, and squirt and wipe some into the ''jagged'' area? This will seal out water & dirt and make for a better refinish than just hi-build primer.

  3. mine does nopt have any seam sealer in the joint
