I finally got the rearend in the car and a big thank you to Fabcraft Metal Works for the axles. It was hard finding anybody in Canada that deals in 57-64 Olds & Pontiac rearends but Fabcraft had every thing I needed. Hopefully the car will be done by next Spring. The paint on this car is almost 40 yrs old.
Oh yeah! Looking great! But I think you will have to fasten the fuel cell a bit better than that, I'm not sure but you may not pass scrutineering at the strip like that!! Doc.
What a great looking machine, congrats on the build. Can't wait to see you run this baby, get in, shut up, hold on, bring extra underwear!! Cool brother, eh! ~Sololobo~
That looks like one of them V-2 GM motors. Car looks pretty good give us a batter look at the fire wall if you don't mind. Oh and what are thos rocker covers? Look tall with fins from this vantage point.
Put the front end on the Anglia today to make sure everything lines up, fenderwell headers next then electrical.
What are you using for fenderwell headers ?? I have a Prefect project coming up in the spring (Once we did it out of the snow). It'll be race only I'm quickly coming to the conclusion we will have to build our own
A friend is building the fenderwell headers, should be done soon. The 62 Chev wagon belongs to the guy that is doing work on the Anglia, the work on the 62 is incredible. He has chopped, channeled, shortened the body and lengthened the wheelbase, every body panel on the car has been altered.
