    What's up, party people?

Anyone remember Andrews Automotive, 222 E. 10th St., Long Beach CA 90813?

Place is just vacant now, but apparently they once sold antique and classic auto parts.

Plus, their street address was painted on a cinderblock wall outside the joint--part of a "flasher" guy also painted on the wall, so it looked like he was opening his trench coat to show you the address on the inside of it.

Basically, on Tenth Street, south side, just west of Long Beach Boulevard.

Guy who owned it was a Harry L. Andrews.

I grew up in Long Beach, and I never knew anything about this place, but I thought another HAMBer might.

Let me know, if you would please.

I grew up with the son of the owner. I went to that shop and hung out with him many times back around 1979-82.
