X2 on this. I didn't think to get a set till my car was already painted. 3 rednecks with a pry bar and a hammer. Then I had a bolt snap off and my father-in-law and my wife and I had to beat it back on with a board, vise grips and pry bar.

Started mocking up all the parts last nite. Got the bumper on which needs a little adjustment still, the tailights are in but are needing rechromed before the car is completed and the trunk lock is in. Next for the rear I need to figure out what Im gonna do for rear bumper guards.

Thanks guys. The tailights are 56 packard clipper lights. I modified them to remove the material from under the reverse lense to make the bezels a little smaller

A little work got done on the car this weekend. Got the nre inner fenders almost completed, and got the loose hood hinges rebuilt. I ground out the rivets, sandblasted them, and used a shoulder bolt that was left over from another car build to hold the hood to the hinge. need to get locknuts for them this week.

Everything is looking good so far except the seats. The seat should look the same, the back seat looks right, the front seat top edge is to narrow compared to the rear seat which is wider. Ii would go back and correct the front seat.

Thanks for the compliments on the build so far guys. I appreciate your interest in my build.

I did notice that on the seats where the top portion of the white is not quite as wide as the sides or the rear seat. I have already had new rear portions made a second time for the fronts and they are still thinner. I think I can live with it for now but we will see once the car is done and the seats are in it. At that time i may go back to the company and see what we can do.

This thing rocks Tin Can! I love the color you chose. Do you have anymore chassis shots of your routing of the lines? I was undecided as to should I chrome the suspension parts or powdercoat them but after seeing yours I think chrome is the way to go. Even though no one will ever see them. Its a feel good thing. Good work man!

Whats the color called on the frame?

Thanks guys. I do not have any good pics of the routing of the lines sorry. The color on the frame is called redfire effect, and all of my suspension pieces are either metallic grey or a rustolium hammertone grey.

Thanks for the compliments guys. No pics of progress right now. Currently doing body work on the front clip and attempting to get the hood straightened out right now. I may look for another hood if I can find one close and affordable

Got a little done latelly but havent posted anything. Since the last update I have gotten the bodywork pretty much done on the front clip but am needing a hood. Got the front garnish moldings roughed in pretty good and started bolting everything togeather to check the fit.
