Technical An electric sending unit for a stock model A tank

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by sko_ford, Jan 22, 2014.

  1. I'm gearing up for my next model A build & I want to run a stock 28 tank with a 40 dash and gauges. Is there unit that that would bolt in to the stock float hole?

Even aircraft used the stock Henry fuel gauge so they are accurate and dependable. How about a hinged speaker grille to check the stock unit or and ash tray lid that opens to reveal the gauge?

  3. That would be easier

Just poke a stick down the filler hole.
