Depends on timing, sometimes things like that are more closely measured (er, ah), annualized, (yea, that's the word...) then at other times.

I was a pump jockey at a gas station during that time. It wasn't very fun.
After a couple years of the high gas prices, you sure could buy some fun high performance cars cheap though.
The higher prices didn't bother me too much, I graduated High School in 74, so the gas prices were high for most of my driving life. I didn't really experience the cheap gas long enough to get used to it.
    AAAHH! The good old days...

You forgot about furlongs, chains and links.
And for the record, I am sure there would be more than 3 milfs in Virginia.......;)

Always wondered how you would fit a V12 Merlin engine into a VW. Now I know.

    Cheers,

Six Ball eyeballing is a learned skill it takes 100s of hours of dedicated practice and ogling, I mean observation to make an accurate assessment of a quality MILF, some of the other things you mentioned not so much.

yeah hey Harv, I think that could be the answer, but begs the question will it preform like a P51 Mustang?

A Merlin in a VW would probably perform more like a Cromwell or Challenger tank than a P51 :D

(though the tank Merlins were officially called Meteor engines).

    Cheers,

true enough Harv, but all you got to do is add fold up wings, flying cars are not a new idea

I was getting pretty good at it, even had some business cards printed. Then I lost the sight in my left eye and had to start over.
