I don't find this one amusing.....

 

My dad must have seen that because one of my "room and board jobs", after I got out of the service and before I got a real job so I could pay rent, was to dig a much, much larger version. In the end I don't think he ever used it.

What we know changes/increases. My mom told me when she was in high school in the mid 30's it was gospel that rivers cleaned themselves every 7 miles and the oceans were to big to pollute.

Memories often come in the dark of night and some times at the oddest times. Some time 1968 crusin the drag Central Ave Great Falls Mt. Me in my 50 Ford F1 2 tone, fenders were green body white, had crager mags with G78 15s on the front L78 15s on the back, dual exhaust and glass packs, other wise stock. But it had class. Me smart ass in my late teens just before going to work for Uncle Sam, gonna make my mark on the world. How you ask, buy using the universal sign not often condoned in Montana at the time.
I cut off a broom handle and attach a 4" inch wide by 1" piece of wood about 5" down from the end, take a canvas glove and put the middle finger over the broom handle, looks like Mickey Mouses gloved hand right? Wrong! When I put the handle in the back stake pocket of the box an amazing thing happens when driving, the more speed the further the fingers fold down over the palm of the glove, there by the universal sign, Im flippin off the world when Im moving.
Heres the catch at the time its an obscene gesture, how am I suppose to know? Well I'll tell ya. Im cruisin and look in my mirror and I see the local fuzz with his lights on behind me so I pull over. Hes not happy tells me about the obscene gesture, innocently I ask where, mean time the glove returns to looking like Mickeys hand. Cop gets madder tells me when Im driving it folds down and there's the obscenity. Smart ass I am I say no how can that happen? He's really mad now tells me get the stick and glove off and if he sees it again he will write me up. He turns me loose and admonishes me I better not see you with that up again. Sure thing ossifer I say with a smile. What do you spose I did as soon as he left?
Im thinkin if they catch me what are they gonna do cut my hair and send me to Vietnam?

That's where I keep all my extensions. Not the 1/2" of course, that would be silly.

 

I guess that the service writer didn't take spelling lessons either.

 

Now, just go back and fill in the gaps.
