That is so cool. I bet the Amphicar folks are pissed abouit that right thereand that is reason enough to do it! There are two stuck in a garage owned by an 80 year old couple I've been trying to buy for a few years and I'm making progress.

I sure am hoping that you are going to use the Imperial deckid with the large fake spare tire mounted on it and swaping out the spare tire ring with a life bouy ring! lol

 

i'm not really sure just what exactly is going on right now....

Those are cool as can be. I just bought a 4 wheel drive amphibious atv and am busting to take it to the lake, I can't imagine how much fun one of those cars must be.

I just got back to the project. I narrowed & shortened the hood, also pancaked it due to the new angle of fenders. I had to pull the bottoms in to fit, this tilted the hood opening up. (free canted lites!!)I am in need of nice headlite bezels parking lenses & a bullet(the center)

what engine are you using?

 

A non HAMB friendly mr2 16 valve twin cam, hooked to a VW bus trans. I will be runnung hydrolic motors for the props. ,
