That is one of my favorite movies. My six year old son loves it too. We just watched that clip. Cool he said, ha yeah son you got it.
I know the music doesnt fit to good but how they put the scenes together wasnt bad. If the music was more traditional or rockabilly it would have been alot better.
I remember back in the day we all had a attitude just like that. That is until we had our ass handed to us in a street race. But with a 55 chevy like his in the movie. I think he must have been handing out asses left and right.
Well, the weathers crappy, nothing good on the tube, no stupid FNG threads and I've got a brand new pack of popcorn. This clip made up my mind to watch the movie tonight. Vid good.... music is not my cup of tea.
VIdeo was good, but had to stop watching halfway thru, couldn,t stand the music. Guess I'll have to watch my copy of the movie tonight.
"Where were you in '62"? Me I was in the 11th grade at Artesia HS Artesia, Ca. Cool movie but the music not so much!
Falfa needed a little starting line practice. Get her rollin and then pour the coals to her. The car had more power than the SBC by far. Im a BBC fan until you pull up to the pump.
Now if we take that video and put the right rock & roll to it, you'd have the best movie preview ever made. I was vacationing with friends at Miami Beach when I first saw the movie on pay per view. They were on the beach, I was glued to the screen for 4 trips through the movie in a row. Yeah, I'm sick, and run from any chance for a cure.................
Cool video with all the best parts of the movie and I am going against the grain and say the song was not bad either if you listen to the words. To bad that will never be on VH1 or MTV. Oh that's right they do not play music video's anymore.
Nice montage. Music, good drums & guitar, singer sucks. "Where were you in '62?" Personally, I was developing eyelids!
"What do ya call that color,? kinda piss yellow. bet you gotta sneak up on the pump to get a little air in your tires."
In the real movie I love the sound of that 55 going thru the gears while they were running from light to light...
