In the last B/W pic, on the previous page, how can the AG coupe be in what looks like a pic from the mid 60's?

And that pic with the two nurses...? Yea, something looks wierd. Even with the car on a lift, those nurses look kinda small. Like, 4'3" small.

Those two shots are behind the scene shots from the TV show Emergency. And its a optical illusion on a untouched photo.

" Universal Studios, by default, acquired the coupe and then used it for a couple of cameos in TV shows such as Emergency. And, shots of the coupe's engine and speedometer were used in the TV movie, California Kid."
Look at this thread(for the non-believers.)

O.K., kats & jammers...how about a Mystery Question regarding the A.G. Deuce intake?
    Yeah, it's a Man-A-Fre...but:

The manifold is still on the car today, The original carbs were the front feed Rochesters,But after years of neglect and sitting in the weather they were froze up. Steve Fitch replaced them with the side feed Rochesters when he bought the car from Universal and had the engine rebuilt.

If you look at the picture with the two nurses in it they put a blown out tire on the tire machine to fit into the story line mentioned above.

But you guys are right, those nurses look kinda small. :D

Much better. Who knows, someone could have added those nurses to the picture. No idea.

In this picture you can see the marks left by the missing trim on the left door.

Yup !,... I was thinking about that when I was watching a dvd a pal sent me from the, GNRS,.. showed a little footage of a 56' Crown Vic,... and I thought, "Dang !, There it is!", But it's not upside down and reversed left on right ,right on left...... And "Her name wasn't Idy,.. and it wasn't' in a flood" (Sorry, couldn't resist :)).

But !,... milner3268,... you get the gold crown sticker on your forehead for that one. Atta' Boy !

  27. you also see its missing the far outside guage in this pic

I loved the movie and still do. Growing up during that time was great and I have memories that run along the lines of what was portrayed in the movie. Good times and no cell phones or video games.

I still keep a copy of the movie and watch it from time to time.

All the rest of it, building clone cars and trying to figure out vague and pretty insignificant details of history borders on almost unhealthy obsession.

Love it for what it is and was, a great period piece on the car hobby and growing up during that time.

Just discovered recently the gauge panel hanging on my wall for at least 25 years and now in my latest project is a Stewart Warner panel very similar to the dash in Milner's coupe.......

Funny how someones uncompleted project from years ago can rise to the heights of scrutiny like that. Imagine if the guy that built that could have been told "you know, there will be hundreds of people in a thing called cyberspace researching the facts as to your not finishing the interior"...

I'm just surprised that there hasn't been anybody that's jumped up claiming that it was their car (prior to the movie)...
