I have gotten so much information from this message board over the years and it has helped so much. I finally joined, so I could chime in to some of your conversations and maybe share some of my experiences. I have a 66 AMC American 220 that I gutted and put a Mopar 408 stroker that I built into it. Just painted it in October, a voodoo purple candy over silver metalflake.

1976 Dodge 360 block, stroked to 408 all forged 10:1, tunnel ram 2 holley 450s. shortened rear end Mopar 8-3/4 w/ Eaton Tru-Trac 3.90 gears. Hurst competition 4-speed with A-833 4 speed trans. I made interior custom myself and deleted rear seat. Tubbed out and fuel cell in trunk. It isn't reaching its potential just yet at the track, only running 12.34 and having driver errors not hooking up correctly yet. I should be in the 11's this summer 2021. Thanks for all your advice over the years on this site.
