A fellow member of our local car club just advised me of this wonderful collection of photos taken back in the fifties . There are some really great shots of cars that just flood my memory banks with nothing but pleasant thoughts. Have a look and hope you all enjoy them as much as I. If anyone can post a few of thew pics from Wirth's collection, I would greatly appreciate the help. I am a picture posting idiot.

These are great pictures. Having attended the Belleville, Il. Gearjamers shows that were displayed, I remembered many of the St Louis cars and some of the Gearjammers cars also. The Gearjammers located in Belleville ran the dragstrip at the Parks Airport east of St. Louis in the mid '50s, then had car shows at the local Shriners Temple for a few years.

Would this be considered a "traditional" cry baby doll?

Pedro, what in the world prompted you to pick that specific car? It is horrendous!!! Thankfully, I never had to see it in person as I'm certain I would have had to gouge out my eyes. It is just bleeding UGLY. But, thanks anyway for going into the site and posting a pic taken from it. I did ask and it would be impolite not to thank you! Sorry to all the rest of you innocent HAMBsters that were caught unawares by this beast.

Holy crap, what a rough crowd. I might have to refrain from posting any pics of cars as they may cause blindness in old krusty. :)
