I've been lurking for awhile but finally decided to make the jump and sign up. I'm just finishing up a 1956 Ford F-100 I've been working on 2+ years, but have been looking for something older to work on for awhile. Hopefully picking up a 40's Ford here soon.

I can never make any progress though becuase I'm always deployed. 2 months here 8 months there..there is just no break. But hopefully I will have something waiting for me to start on when I get some breaks.

Looking forward to learning. I have a long way to go. But this looks like the right place to be.

Any shows or get to gethers here in NC between the months of April and May?

Looks like PA is the place to be for all of the action going on. Tons of rigs for sale up there and a lot of the members seem to be from around those parts.

I fixed my lingo in the first thread. I actually thought about changing that after I read thru it. I can see some of the guys get pretty harsh on people about those things.

I should be able to make that show in May. Sounds like a good time.
