Coming out from GA with the wife and a the tricycle motor (5 year old). As much as it pains me, this time around won't be a party hard trip; I'm looking for a general area that is sort of middle ground. Would prefer somewhere I can maybe drink a beer in the parking lot with other car guys, but I won't have to worry about the wife and little one feeling too out of place. I have the sneaking suspicion I'll end up North of town, any recommendations?
Seems like the past 2 years, most "cool hotels" started cracking down on parking lot hang outs. We rented a house last year and did the same again this year. Matter of face, we have an extra room available if you can't find a place. $122 per night. Located on the lake near The Oasis. I'm taking my 7 and 2 year old.
