That’s funny, and it is exactly what Broadway Bob used to say when it was raining cats and dogs in Chicago and we called to ask about conditions at Union Grove.
You younger guys only accustomed to instant weather reporting and practically up to the minute radar on your cell phone can’t relate to this. The man was a promoters promoter, RIP Bob.

I expect it to run 9.0 to 9.5, but we'll see.

Drove around on the country roads some to the strip, it did ok, water temp got up to 220, trans up to 230. It was kind of warm out. Then after dinner and hanging out with friends, after dark, we took the freeway back to the hotel, it only got up to 200 or so, and the trans was cool. Drives nice at 70-75 mph. Need to aim the headlights, etc. still.

I guess it's ok....big day tomorrow.
