Love this long roof thread. I'm working on a 56 Buick wagon. It's my first project and yes, I got in way over my head. But I've learned to do body work and weld. I hope to get the upholstery done in February. I'd like to find new or good used outside door handles. If anyone know who can help pm me.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Thanks

This may very well be my favorite thread on the HAMB! :D

10. Thought I would add a picture of the Edsel Roundup now that it is done.

There is a "before" picture somewhere early on in this thread.

This thread is really cool. I hunted for a wagon for over 2 years to find one that I felt was the perfect combination, I didn't want to settle. Some I passed on, others I wasn't quick enough with the checkbook.

A lot of the cars I looked at are posted on here under their new owners.

Anywho, a couple months ago I picked up my 58 Ford Ranch Wagon. Here is a photo shortly after I brought it home. Also in the picture are my two kids, dog, and if you look carefully, my wife's shoe.

If that isn't the very picture of domestic tranquility for an old-car guy, I don't know what is. Cool car, cute kids. Great pic.

Remove the newer cars and the fold up chair, and the picture could be from '58. Nice car.

Thanks guys! We went to our first all day car show a while back and it was pretty cool to have everything we needed for the day all easily packed in the car.

This included: A cooler, bucket with cleaner, toolbox, bouncy for my 3 mo old, two folding chairs, one folding table, ez up tent, diaper bag, blanket for grass, plastic non folding chair for a kid, tricycle, umbrella stroller, and a big travel system stroller.

And yes, we used everything we brought except the toolbox. Woohoo!

I love my wagon.

Here's my '63. Picked it up a few weeks ago. It's a true survivor, factory A/C and all. Only thing I can tell has been changed is the front seat recovered. I changed the stock size pin-whites for big and little 14's and blacked the wheels. My only other plans are to lower it and drive the crap out of it!

Air Bags and Vintage Air. I don't care what anyone says when you can roll up your windows on a road trip and NOT sweat it's 1,000 times even more enjoyable when your wife is HAPPY. LOL
