    OK, I admit I did not go through all the pages, but I did spend an hour looking. Here is my newest project, going to keep the 6 banger and ad a T5 and S10 rear end.

    Yo Shagginwagon. I really dig your wagon. I have a 63 with a very similar color - and just got some torque thrust wheels for it.

    What white walls are those - and what did you do to the ride?

    Thanks!

    Yes, I would eventually like to ad discs to the front. But it looks like I have to convert to firewall mount if I want power, no one makes a under floor in the stock location for a standard trans.

    Are you sure you need power? My 40 tudor has non-power discs, and it isn't a scary proposition, although it does take more pressure. The big downside is that my right leg has gotten HUGE!!

    Looks great.

    Is that the stock trim - or did you costomize it? Looks the the rear end of a country sedan with the front pieces removed.

    Here's mine. 1963 ford country sedan. 100% original except for maint parts. 352, 3 speed auto, 2bbl dual exhaust. Santa is bringing me a new edelbrock intake, Holley 4bbl and torque thrust wheels for Christmas. Planning on lowering a bit when I do the wheels and tires.[IMG]

    Who would have thought just lowering and adding decent wheels and tires would make these old grandma wagons look so good?

    I remember my folks had one of these back in the early 60s. It was likely what they could afford after they had to sell their new '60 Buick Invicta they weren't able to get its clutch repaired for. :oops: I still remember that Buick and I couldn't have been more than 4 years old. It was gorgeous, even to little old me, then. ;)

    @English Falcon
    Wow
    I haven't seen this delivery around Portland for years, wondered what happened to it.
    The first time I saw it, it was at the Falcon business, I was looking for a 4 speed hump and shift boot for my roadster project.
    I always liked it, partly because of it's rarity, but also partly because I'm actually a Nova guy and was mad that Chevy never made an equivalent model, but it really is a cool car.
    Curious how you happened upon it, also thinking your mates must think it quite an odd little car from the states, it must get a lot of looks from people in the UK huh.

    In high school in the 60's, a friend of mine had a 57 Buick 2dr sedan with a stick.
