All steel 1940 Willys De Luxe Coupe built as a touring car capable of driving from coast to coast. The body has been refined to a phenomenal level of fit and finish and retains the stock firewall for plenty of legroom. Particular attention has been paid to ensuring all panels fit flush and the gaps are even - this Willys needs no fender welting. It is ready for the paint shop.

The chassis is the original Willys chassis, modified with a heavy duty Mustang II tubular A Arm front suspension and vented cross drilled Wilwood brakes with 4 piston calipers, Bilstein shocks and power steering rack. The rear suspension is a 4 bar with panhard 9” Ford 31 spline Posi 3.89 with Bilstein coilovers, Wilwood 12.19 brakes with 4 piston calipers. Genuine Halibrands - 15 x 10 and 15 x 6 with Halibrand spinners. This coupe comes with recent high quality wiring, a complete grey mohair interior, including headliner with low back Recaro seats. All glass is with the car and the original garnish moldings are chrome plated. A top of the line Vintage Air Gen II A/C system is included but not fitted. This is sold as a rolling project, without engine. I have an SBC or a rebuilt 392 hemi available at extra cost - NOT included in the price. If you want a top level all steel Willys Coupe this is it. This car is built right and everything is the best of the best. More info: [email protected]

An all steel 1940 Willys coupe and a rebuilt 392 hemi for $70k firm - if you know your stuff this is a screaming deal. This is not some pieced together Frakenwillys made from several different cars - never raced, never cut, no patch panels, no rust repair or panel repair of any kind is evident.
