All Hot Rod Model T's - Let's See Them

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by JReece, Aug 21, 2012.

  1. Jon Schuchart from York, Pa.owns and built this '26 T on a home-built frame. It looks black in most photos but it is actually a very dark brown ( a Model A color). First outing was Jalopy Showdown in May 2011, but with no interior. Car was completely finished before Jalopyrama in Oct. 2011. It runs a Mercury 312 Y-Block with Offy intake and 97's.

Get one or make your own. Seems to be a little easier and safer.

I've shown these pics in other threads but I like showing them off so I'll do it again. The trailer hitch hides behind the licence plate, which flips up with hinges.

Flathead powered T bucket I owned at the 2004 Hunnert Car Pile Up, foolishly sold it. Later I found out the car was built by Chester Greenleigh, author of How to Build a T-Bucket for $3000 (1970's dollars). This was his personal car and featured in the book.

How it looked when Chester owned it:

I missed owning a T so I just bought this tub from HRM. Waiting for delivery. '27 touring body on a Model a chassis with a banger motor. I'll keep it pretty much as is for now but the banger might morph into a V8.

I've got a bunch of "Ts" around my joint waiting their turn, but how about some shots of my long ignored modified project. Just kinda started working on it again this last week, but it will probably be looking for a new home soon...
