Alright, alright Ill stripe the fuckin thing! Damn Hollenbeck .10 phone calls in one day!My secratary wants a raise! .......Im awake now. A man can dream, cant he??
Beautiful! Really good progress! I'm afraid that all I can provide is encouragement for this project. I hope my contribution in some small way helps it along. Very happy to see this truck reborn!! Dave
I cant begin to imagine all the work and research that went into that project. WOW ~!!!!!!! Will I see it in Detroit?
Is'nt that what you would expect? That is like saying when you head in for the operation, wow thats one clean operating room!
It always amazes me that while every other custom car was being changed on an almost monthly basis Barris resisted the urge to alter the Ala Kart in ANY way- even after a fire that would have made it too easy to change everything. That's so kool.
Those pictures of freshly painted pieces snapped me right back to '62, or whenever it was I saved up a precious $2.00 to buy the model...thoise look just like the AMT Kart components coming out of the box!
