  6. Was about to point that out as well. I'm within 2 years of the 50 group but not there yet!

  7. Didn't see the ........"older than dirt" category either.

  8. Well I am not old but when I was young a voice from the heavens said, "Here put this on you're butt naked." Then handed me a leaf.

Well it seems I'm in the biggest group at least at the time of this posting. I'm now a year older than my Dad ever lived to be which makes me extremely happy since I didn't think I'd get this old as my health was way worse than his at 50. :)

I can still slide in to being 1 of the 2 in the 20-30 category for a few more months!

  13. LOL I am with Sam on this one, "If I had known I was going to get this old I would have taken better care of myself when I was young." :D

I still got about 16 years to top my dad.

True that! :) I'm now working on topping my Dad's Dad that died at the age I am now. After that I can work on topping my Mom's Dad, I'd have to live over 23 more years to do that! :) If I get that done I know I should have taken better car of myself since I have a hard time getting around now and I'm the proud owner of a handicapped scooter.

  17. Well I have almost doubled my dad's dad now. Never knew him. My grandpa (Mom' s Dad) I dearly loved and I got nearly 40 years to catch him. I am actually getting a little impatient, I miss chatting with him.

Note: do not send the suicide hotline to see me I am not even talking about that.

I'm 60 and used the 50-60 box just because the 60-70 bracket is running away with it!

Read an article that motorcycles and hot rods are graying out, old farts make up most of both groups. When I go to old style car shows and bike rally almost everyone is a gray beard, hate to see my hobbies die out so we need to get the younger people involved. I gave up on the street rod set when they opened it up to late model cars. As we get older and quit playing with cars the old styles die out, most kids today don't care about their car as long as it has a stereo system.

So far the results are about what I expected, us ol farts make up the majority. Yes, I still have my 1st car, the 31 in the avatar, bought it in 1957 with my paper route money :)
