Stock 53 chevys have the grille with 3 bullets, alot of people add bullets to the grille. I think they look rad with 13 grille bullets But exactly how do you add the teeth, do they bolt on or is there cutting and welding involved? Example of stock grille-

I had one once with a corvette grill bar. they look great of course but no doubt real pricey now-a-days. It would look real cool. I would remove the bird while I was at it....for starters. tim
Picture 012 had 17 in this grille...cut ends off 2nd bar to weld on and replace park lights..then ground the 1/4" flange off each side of grille teeth to squeeze them all together..then drill holes for teeth mounting bolts.. the teeth are lefts,rights, and a center..so be aware when purchasing them as centers are usually the ones that are easier to find but won't work on the side angles.. pretty hard to find good teeth and of course chroming is spendy..had about 500 bucks in this grille in 1999.
