Can anyone tell me who has em and do they work? Do they have mounting for the starter? Also need to know if a 292 fly wheel will fit. The engine is from a '58 if that helps. thanks. Chad.
did one on a 54 about a year ago. there is a company upstate neew york that makes a great kit. it was about 400.all bolt on wt there adapter plate. now if i could remember the name. i will sooner or later. it was posted a few months back about the same thimg
I am not sure who makes the adapter, but I can tell you that the flywheel wont work. The 350 turbo was introduced many years later, therefore the flywheel doesnt have the holes for the torque converter in it. A new flywheel is around $30-40.00 at the parts store.
Try this: http://www.stoveboltengineco.com/index1.htm I don't know if it's the same company, but they sell an adapter.
Thanks alot guys. 53 210 ,I'll give em a try. Do you think I'll upset anyone putting a blue flame in a Ford F1????
UHHHHHH........Isn't the 62 chevy 235 to aluminum powerglide adapter what you are needing?[One year deal I believe]first year for aluminum powerglide-also cast iron-PG was on most 62's
