Well here we are; it's Sunday morning and we are loading up for the long drive home. This was a fantastic show and today is the day we will start looking forward to next year's 2012 LSRU.

Here are some shots of the hotel parking lot, joes coffee, and our little room (36) and my buddy Norm.

Good times. Good people. Good show.

I will keep posting on our drive home over the next two days and I will start to post photos of the cars (lots of cars) from the show, but that will need to wait for later today when we stop along the way. Right now we need to make some miles.

I did the Route 66 trip on my Harley 2 yrs ago. There's a great BBQ joint in downtown Williams in Arizona you should check out. They have outside seating and the food and prices are great and it's on Route 66. Did the Oatman thing too. Cool ride from Williams to Oatman. Boy those mules were loaded with fleas.

I just dropped my wife at the airport. Sad.

I am hoping to find a little cafe that I saw on the drive last year to get some cool shots.......stay tuned.

  15. It looked like a band stage in your motel parking lot. That's pretty hard core! Also, I thought there's still some goings on on Sunday in Austin? It's been a great ride. Thanks for the coverage so far

You guys had the same damn room Rachel and I had when we were there two years ago.....did you utilize the secret BACK EXIT there?

Austin is such a cool place....with or without the cars.

I'll be there with my '37. Might take a few more years.

Norwell's wearing my shirt......sniff sniff, I'm all verklempt....

I have been planning to stop here since last year when I saw it out if the corner of my eye as we blew thru town.

Originally the "Acme dry goods co." it is in the same building (built in 1890) that the general store was. The building is a Texas historical building and is really cool.

When we pulled in there were some bikers out front and one of them had been on our website (he actually knew about us!). They wanted Acme shirts and you know we aim to please.....so they have some.

Here are the photos. This is too much fun!!!!!
