Helper Utah. Old Utah railroad administration building. Again, it looked like everyone left work one day and never returned. The place was full of all old employees records with the most recent being 1985. We saw records as old as 1961 but it got spooky in the basement after both our phone died. We made a hasty retreat.

Made it to Moab Utah tonight. Almost 500 miles today. We made the mistake of stopping for coffee in Salt Lake City and almost didn't make it back into the freeway. Even GPS got confused with the goofy street naming system. Seri was convinced that Starbuck's was .3 miles away but after 5 miles of turns and u turns we gave up.

"Turn left at south 800 west street and then turn right at north 300 east street." How about naming a street after a tree or something.

    Really Brigham?!!

So here is some more randomness from today.

Safe travels , enjoying the pictures of your trip . The country is full of old buildings when you get off the beaten path. When my wife and I moved our daughter home from AK . Somewhere in Montana we drove past a vacant 3 story school house in the middle of a pasture , miles from any town.

Wow guys that is really cool. Hope to be able to do a road trip like that with the wife/kids one day! Keep em comin...

BTW, amazing how that thing could be vacant for 30+ yrs, obviously unsecured and pratically untouched. Down here it would be stripped bare and tagged up sorry to say...
